Image similarity measuring using deep learning
Štarha, Dominik ; Šeda, Pavel (referee) ; Rajnoha, Martin (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the reseach of technologies using deep learning method, being able to use when processing image data. Specific focus of the work is to evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of deep learning when comparing two image input data. The first – theoretical – part consists of the introduction to neural networks and deep learning. Also, it contains a description of available methods, their benefits and principles, used for processing image data. The second - practical - part of the thesis contains a proposal a appropriate model of Siamese networks to solve the problem of comparing two input image data and evaluating their similarity. The output of this work is an evaluation of several possible model configurations and highlighting the best-performing model parameters.

The thesis target is comparsion of natural building materials with traditional building materials pursuant technological, environmental and economic criteria. Comparsion will be made on two examplary houses. Both projects have a same base. Considering to different technologies and possibilities of used materials with a small differences between objects, which will be evaluated from technology, environmental and economic aspects.
Mapping of Algorithms to FPGA Using High-Level Synthesis Tools
Kupka, David ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with ways to describe hardware. It presents the methods used in the synthesis of the description and then it compares on a set of algorithms currently common low level description in VHDL with the newly emerging high-level synthesis, where a component is described at a algorithmic level in higher programming language. The object of comparison is the ratio of time required for implementation and optimality of the resulting components.
Comparsion of the approach in the prevention of pressure ulcers in the departments of surgical and non-surgical fields
SLÁDKOVÁ, Monika
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map and subsequently compare the approach in the prevention of pressure ulcers in the departments of surgical and non-surgical fields of health facilities. Today, pressure ulcers are still among the most common chronic wounds, and patients at risk of developing them occur across all wards. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis has been processed by the method of qualitative research. The semi-structured interview technique was chosen for data collection. Interviews were conducted with nurses working in the departments of surgical and non-surgical fields in two South Bohemian hospitals. After processing the obtained data, the results of the research survey were divided into 3 categories, which were further divided into subcategories. The results of the thesis not only provided information on the differences in the approach in the prevention of pressure ulcers among departments of surgical and nonsurgical fields, but a fundamental difference also emerged in the comparison of departments of surgical fields between the monitored hospitals. The differences found concerned the assessment of the risk of pressure ulcers before surgery and the application of preventive measures to prevent pressure ulcers during the perioperative period. The results of the thesis have shown that nurses from the department of nonsurgical fields are much more actively educated in the issue of pressure ulcers, which is also relevant in the departments of surgical fields. Furthermore, it has been found that nurses from the department of surgical specialties, in contrast to nurses from the department of non-surgical specialties, have a deficit of knowledge in positioning patients with hemiparesis or hemiplegia. However, even these patients are commonly encountered by nurses in the operating wards and should therefore be able to provide them with quality care in the prevention of pressure ulcers. The achieved results of qualitative research can serve as an incentive to improve the management of pressure ulcer prevention in health care facilities and thus increase the quality of nursing care provided.

Hrůzová, Lenka ; Osvaldová, Barbora (advisor) ; Miessler, Jan (referee)
This work examines the thematic composition and functioning of the Czech Playboy edition, which has been published in the Czech Republic since 1991. Since it is a licensed periodical, in addition to the local mutation, the American title has been analysed, which has been undergoing significant changes in recent years, affecting the composition of the magazine content. For better context, a competitive periodical in the form of the monthly magazine Esquire was included into the research. This magazine is available on local market since the 1996 and with magazines like ForMen or ElleMan they are in fact the only competition in the men's magazine market. The aim is to find out how the content of the Czech Playboy mutation has changed over time, namely since its start-up in Czechoslovakia in 1991 till the year 2018. The method of quantitative content analysis was used for this purpose. Its results were further compared with the data obtained from the analysis of the American origin, as well as the domestic mutations of Esquire. The author drew theoretical information from book and digital sources. However, in the absence of freely accessible information about Playboy's internal operations, she acquired it through interviews with the people who contributed to the launch of the magazine or those who...
